Our high-spec cedar-clad sauna is built by hand and made with love — designed to elevate your experience from the moment you step inside. Spacious, thoughtfully finished, and filled with warmth in every sense, it’s a sanctuary where luxury meets nature.
Named after Mother Earth, our sauna feels perfectly at home here in the heart of Knepp’s rewilded landscape — a place where nature leads, and you’re invited to follow.
This is more than just a sauna. It’s a celebration of earth, craft, and connection.

Our Original & Much-Loved Horsebox Sauna
Lovingly converted from an old horsebox, this intimate 5–6 seater wood fired sauna is where it all began. Crafted with Siberian larch and powered by a 120kg volcanic rock stove, she delivers some of the finest löyly (sauna steam) you’ll find in Sussex.
Cosy, characterful, and full of charm — she’s perfect for a private session with a partner, a small group of friends, or a quiet catch-up with someone special.

Wild Weekday Sauna
Seat on the bench with other members of the sauna community, total 8 seats.
Come with a friend, or come alone and chat to others, or share silence. Included is option to wild swim at your own risk in the wild swimming pond just moments from the sauna.

Private Hire of Tara our original 5/6 seater sauna
Private, exclusive hire of our smaller sauna, Tara, who can seat 5 comfortably.
For private hire you may bring up to 6 people. Included in the price is a 75 min private sauna and access to the wild swimming pond/showers.
Add a detoxifying face mask, ginger shots or rehydration drink for extra pampering at check out. Please note use of wild swimming pond is unsupervised and at your own risk.
